Choose a brush for home decoration
In DIY home decoration, if you want to paint the wall, you should choose a suitable brush, which is not only easy to use, but also twice the result with half the effort. Of course, in addition to brushes, ladders and paint mixing rods are also essential. There are three kinds of brushes used here: brush, roller brush and tucker brush. This article briefly introduces the knowledge of these three kinds of brushes. At the same time, it is suggested that when painting the walls of your home, you must remember to brush the ceiling and the edges of lamps and lanterns first, and then use a roller to do large-area painting; If you want to paint both the corners and the ceiling, you should start from the ceiling.
1. Brush: also known as paint brush, paint brush, oil sweep, etc., it can be used to brush away concave holes and cracks, especially to paint irregular objects, such as railings, door panel trim strips, door panel sides, etc., but the disadvantage is that it is more laborious and time-consuming, and may even break the skin, so it is better to wear gloves before using the brush.
note: the effect of brush construction is flat, but the brush will leave brush marks. Home decoration generally recommends wool brushes, which are soft and can reduce brush marks as much as possible. Brush roller
II. Roller brush: also known as roller, it needs to be matched with the roller brush used in the paint pan. Because of the wide rolling surface, it is a labor-saving and time-saving brush. Especially, after connecting the extension rod, it can easily paint the wall or ceiling, but the disadvantage is that paint splashes easily. Therefore, the hair of the roller brush should not be too short, but it must be thin, so that the paint film can feel delicate. Brush roller
note: use a roller brush as long as it is straight. If you want to apply it evenly, it is best to wait for it to be fully absorbed when putting the roller into the paint barrel, then take it out and roll it on the slope for a few times, press out the excess paint, and then start painting the wall.
III. Tucker brush: This is a newly used brush and an old ceiling plate brush. It is a square flat brush, which can easily brush a smooth and neat brush surface for beginners, and can change the angle at will to improve work efficiency. But the disadvantage is that if the paint is not stained enough, intermittent brush marks will be produced.
