Types of brush wire materials

1. Polypropylene (PP) brush wire has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, but its elasticity is not very good, and it is easy to deform and difficult to recover after a long time of work, so it is suitable for industrial dedusting and cleaning of rough parts, such as the dedusting of mine terminals, the sweeping brush of sanitation vehicles, etc;
2. Nylon 610 (PA66, PA6) brush wire has good wear resistance, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, good elasticity, and is suitable for brush parts in household dust removal and cleaning, such as vacuum cleaner roller, brush roller, brush platform, etc;
3. The elasticity of PBT wire is better than that of nylon brush wire, but the wear resistance is not as good as 610. The performance of PBT is soft, and it is suitable for cleaning and decontamination of fine parts, such as car surface cleaning;
4. Nylon 612 or nylon 1010 has good elasticity and high cost, but its abrasion resistance is not as good as 610. It has excellent appearance and excellent impact resistance and aging resistance. It is suitable for industrial equipment, doors and windows and other dust-proof parts; Flame retardant and anti-static functions are generally required;
5. PE wire is the softer brush wire among several kinds of brush wires, which is often used on car cleaning brushes. With the fluffing process, it is easy to protect the car paint surface;
6. The bristles are often used for polishing bath brushes or valuables, such as surface treatment of gold, gemstones, pianos, etc., and polishing and grinding of cemented carbide;
7. Sisal hemp brush silk has good toughness, high temperature resistance, oil absorption, and is commonly used for pot brush, high temperature, degreasing, etc.
8. Horse hair is softer than bristles and easier to remove floating ash. It is often used for high-end household cleaning products or industrial purposes such as removing floating ash;
9. Metal wires, such as steel wire and copper wire, are generally used for deburring of metal surface, with good wear resistance;
10. Abrasive nylon wire (including silicon carbide abrasive wire, aluminum oxide abrasive wire, diamond abrasive wire), with good wear resistance and acid and alkali resistance, is commonly used in PCB surface treatment, galvanized plate pickling line, metal processing, polishing and deburring.
